TXT's Soobin diagnosed with COVID-19, currently in self-quarantine

The world-famous K-pop idol, Soobin, from TXT has tested positive for COVID-19 on March 12, 2022. The singer’s agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, released an official statement confirming the news and stated that Soobin will be undergoing treatment at home, while it will take precautions to safeguard other members of the group.

“He had cold symptoms and was tested positive for a rapid antigen test he took on Thursday, March 10."

The agency further stated that Soobin was experiencing a mild cold and took a rapid antigen test on March 10, which came positive. He immediately took a PCR test on March 11 and was confirmed positive with COVID-19 on March 12.


BIGHIT MUSIC confirms TXT Soobin's COVID-19 results

On March 12, 2022, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement on the K-pop group’s Weverse account announcing that Soobin has tested positive for COVID-19.

The agency continued to explain that the idol is currently experiencing flu symptoms and will receive medical treatment at home.

"Soobin is experiencing symptoms including a cough and a sore throat. He has been under self-quarantine, away from the other members, since the rapid antigen test and is undergoing treatment at home."

BIGHIT MUSIC stated that other members of the group- Beomgyu, Yeonjun, Taehyun, and Huening Kai- tested negative after their PCR test. Nevertheless, all members of TXT are to comply with the state health regulations. The agency ended the statement by assuring that they will follow all guidelines of the healthcare authorities:

"We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Soobin, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities. Thank you."

Soon enough, fans took to Weverse and other social media platforms to wish Soobin a speedy recovery. They sent their love and also hoped that the other members would remain safe and healthy.
