Chrisean Rock is currently being held in custody at the Northeast Oklahoma Community Corrections Center in Vinita, Oklahoma. Legal documents revealed that the reality television star was detained on Control Dangerous Substances (CDS) charges and is facing eight years in prison, with each of her charges carrying a four-year sentence.
The 24-year-old was arrested and extradited for “failure to display tax stamp on CDS” and "possession of CDS with the intent to distribute charges" in June.
As per Oklahoma law, CDS refers to Controlled Dangerous Substances that include narcotics, amphetamines, and other opiates. The Law Firm of Oklahoma revealed that possessing CDS or marijuana with the intent to distribute can result in felons facing a minimum of two years of prison and a possible $20,000 fine.
Meanwhile, Chrisean Rock’s sister, Terrine, took to her Instagram story on Saturday, August 3, to update the former’s fans about her anticipated return home. Terrine stated that she should be reunited with her family before her son’s birthday in September. While sharing an image of Chrisean and her son, Chrisean Jr., Terrine wrote online:
“Chrisean will be home sooner than later yessssssssss thank u Jesus I wanna b there to witness yall reunion I know yall miss each other sooooo bad”
Chrisean Rock was arrested in June as she attended Blueface’s court hearing
Chrisean Rock’s legal woes reappeared in June after she was arrested at one of her baby father Blueface’s court hearings in Los Angeles. She went on to be extradited to Oklahoma, as she had a warrant out for her 2022 arrest on drug charges.
Rock was present at the courthouse to extend support to Blueface as he was battling his own legal issues, which included allegedly violating probation related to a 2021 assault case. He currently remains in the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles, with his next court hearing on August 6.
Back in June, Blueface's manager, Wack 100, commented on Chrisean Rock’s arrest. He claimed that she would be back home as soon as she was extradited to Oklahoma. He said:
“The minute you hear Rock is in Oklahoma [she’s in custody]. Probably within 10 days of that, best case, she’ll be home. Or the judge might give her a little time: months, couple of months, whatever they do. Either way, we’ll see her before Christmas. We’ll see her before the summer’s up. She’ll be alright… She’s in the same situation Blueface is in.”
Chrisean Rock was aware of the warrant that was out for her in Oklahoma. She had taken to her Instagram Live to claim that she wished to spend time with her nine-month-old son rather than spend time behind bars. She said during the livestream:
“I’ve been paying off fees and getting rid of s**t, talking to some people to help my situation out ‘cause, you know, I have my son.”
She also stated in the livestream that the “old” her would have turned herself in, but she does not wish to spend time in prison as she wants to watch her son grow up.
The couple’s child is currently not in the presence of either of his parents at the time of writing this article.
