Where can you watch A24's Hazbin Hotel? All streaming options explored

Hazbin Hotel is a rare animated offering from A24. After being developed by Vivienne Medrano for a YouTube pilot in 2019, the animated black comedy is going to be available on Prime Video's streaming service as a stand-alone series in association with Bento Box.

The official synopsis of the show reads:

"After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, (Charlie) opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be ‘checking out’ into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult film-star Angel Dust, stick by her side.

"When a powerful entity known as the ‘Radio Demon’ reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality.”

The series was under production for a long time, and Amazon Prime Video has scheduled a premiere date for the first season of the animated series on January 19, 2024.

Where to stream A24's Hazbin Hotel?

Hazbin Hotel initially premiered with a pilot episode on YouTube in 2019. Since the pilot, it took six months to create the first season of the series and an additional two years to add voiceovers. After receiving over 79 million views on YouTube since its launch, A24 and Bento Box Entertainment expressed interest in it.

Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel is finally premiering exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 19, 2024. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. A24 is also going to be giving fans early access to episodes for a limited time on the A24 App, as per Collider.

One of two options is available to watch movies and TV series on Prime (including Hazbin Hotel): rent it or pay a monthly or annual subscription fee to use the service continuously.

In the upcoming adult animated comedy/musical Charlie (Jill Harris), the daughter of Satan, finds a way to stop hell from becoming too crowded.

Her persona is best described as a Disney princess but one who also happens to be the princess of hell. Charlie intends to assist demons in redeeming their souls and gain entry into paradise by establishing a rehabilitation hostel to diminish the population. She has her girlfriend Vaggie and adult film star Angel Dust on her side.

The show's 31-minute pilot, which was created by Vivian "VivziePop" Medrano, was made available on YouTube in 2019. It was mostly supported by Medrano's Patreon supporters, with freelance artists handling the animation.

The voice cast of the upcoming series includes Michael Kovach as Angel Dust (Rocky Rickaby in Lackadaisy), Monica Franco as Vaggie (Adoption Center Lady and Counsellor Jimmy in Helluva Boss) and Jill Harris as Charlie (Noelle Silva in Black Clover). The voices of Monica Franco, Edward Bosco, Mick Lauer and Faye Mata will be used for the supporting characters.

Regarding the team, Vivienne Medrano will oversee the production as executive producer, editor and creative director. Executive producers Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron and Scott Greenberg serve from A24's side.
