Thor Björnsson is very confident that he will hurt Eddie Hall when they step into the ring in Dubai. Both Hall and 'The Mountain' have already landed in Dubai to get used to the timezone and weather just a little over a week before their fight.

After Björnsson had his first workout session in Dubai, he shared a prediction for the fight:

"I promise you this guys, his face will be damaged. That's just a fact, with the gloves that we're gonna use, the twelve ounce gloves, with the way I've been sparring. It's just guaranteed that his face is not gonna be hundred percent. It wouldn't surprise me if his nose will be broken, cuts probably on his face. So be prepared, tune in."

Thor Björnsson is taking on 'The Beast' in what has been dubbed 'The Heaviest Boxing Match in History' on March 19th. The former World's Strongest Man title holders will put an end to their five-year-long rivalry inside the ring.

This rivalry dates all the way back to 2017 when the pair were competing together and Eddie Hall won that year's World's Strongest Man competition.

Since then, the pair have just kept pushing each other on, breaking one another's records, and trash-talking each other. The score will finally be settled this Saturday.

Thor Björnsson reveals his boxing inspirations ahead of his match-up against Eddie Hall

'The Mountain' has gotten into boxing since retiring from strongman and already has three exhibition fights to his name. In an interview with JOE, Björnsson spoke about his inspirations in boxing and the fighters that he looks up to and tries to learn from:

"You definitely have inspirations. You definitely have people that you look up to, people that inspire you. A guy like Lennox Lewis, big, tall, with a great jab, great, great jab. A totally different fighting style guy that I really like to watch as well, Mike Tyson. Like, he was very aggressive. He came inside with the body shots, uppercuts, always throwing great combinations."

He also spoke about how he watches fighters like Canelo Alvarez, Tyson Fury, and Gennadiy Golovkin nowadays. Only time will tell if 'The Mountain' uses any of these techniques in his next fight against Eddie Hall.
