#4: Jake Hager's first AEW Match against Dustin Rhodes was teased during the episode
Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes wrestled in a singles match this week.
Dustin's vendetta against The Inner Circle has been public knowledge since last year. Rhodes defeated Guevara despite Jake Hager's looming presence by ringside.
This was a little confusing in terms of booking Guevara ahead of his match against Darby Allin at the Revolution Pay-Per-View.
Allin challenged Guevara to the aforementioned match in a pre-taped video prior to the Dustin-Guevara bout. After the match, Dustin called out Hager in front of the live audience.
If you remember, Hager broke Dustin's arm several episodes ago, and the latter chose to cash in his revenge in the form of a match at AEW Revolution. Hager did not openly accept the challenge, but the tease almost confirms that Jake Hager's AEW debut will be against Dustin Rhodes at AEW Revolution.
However, in an attempt to set up Dustin and Hager's post-match tease, Sammy Guevara ended up being a sacrificial lamb in the process. The loss doesn't impact Guevara's career forever, but it surely reduces his credibility heading into the upcoming Pay-Per-View to fight Darby Allin.
