Kris Statlander faced a returning Shanna after the Tag Team Battle Royal concluded.
Dr. Britt Baker was on commentary. She displayed her own meanness without taking away too much focus from the match.
All in all, fans witnessed an engaging bout between the two women. AEW's Resident Alien picked up the victory by using her own version of the pile driver.
But after the match, Nyla Rose had a special interview with Tony Schiavone near the entrance stage. Rose seems to have a target on her back as the new AEW Women's World Champion.
It is apparent that Nyla's character isn't a backstage favorite by any means. There are already a few women lined up for a potential title shot. Big Swole and Kris Statlander came out to confront her, the latter of which is the clear fan favorite right now.
Big Swole has a promising future ahead of her, but this might be too early for her to enter the title picture.
Meanwhile, AEW's Resident Alien might have to jump over a few hurdles before taking on Nyla Rose.
