#3: Darby Allin returned to a great pop from the live audience

A debuting Jeff Cobb and Jon Moxley wrestled against each other in a singles match this week.

Both men have a stiff style of wrestling that made them an intriguing pair to watch. Moxley picked up the victory in clever fashion, merely escaping Cobb's wrath at the same time.

Taz was on commentary too, which prompted viewers to make connections between how similar Jeff Cobb is to some of the greatest Hoss wrestlers this industry has ever seen. Aside from being Chris Jericho's hired assassin, Cobb could very well be an important future aspect of the company.

The Inner Circle jumped Moxley soon after, but Dustin Rhodes and Darby Allin made the save.

Dustin Rhodes and Jake Hager will take on each other at AEW Revolution, and Allin's return took his feud with Sammy Guevara to the next level.

Darby Allin is just one of those AEW Superstars that have connected with their fanbase in an organic way. The 27-year old has a different personality than most of the AEW talent, and his ability to adapt in the ring with various kinds of wrestlers also gives him an edge so early in his career.
