Back before they both made it to their respective big-time wrestling companies, Sami Callihan and Moxley were a fantastic tag team for CZW, and now that Moxley is back and Sami is doing his thing in Impact, it's only a matter of time until the former friends meet.
The Draw is currently doing the best work of his career, as evidenced by the award he received above in 2018, and with so many new opponents on the indies, we need to make sure that Moxley is one of them.
Ultimately, seeing Jon join oVe would be incredible, but before that happens, a hardcore contest, whether for CZW, Impact or any other company is a must. In terms of backstory and connection, this one is the best match on the independents for Moxley, and considering how good both men are at their craft, if time is taken to book this one, it could quite honestly be a Match of the Year candidate.
