WWE is considered to be 'the holy grail of wrestling'. Many wrestlers dream about performing in front of the WWE Universe.

And there should be no argument about it. Whether you like it or not, WWE is the biggest professional wrestling company in the world today. Even if you don't watch WWE, you know that this company exists.
A lot of wrestling fans dream of seeing their favourite wrestlers perform in the WWE ring. We see their great in-ring skills and we believe that they could become an asset to the WWE.
And some wrestlers, like AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan, showed their value and importance to the WWE with their incredible in-ring skills, their ability to bring the best out of their opponents and the connection they have with the crowd
However, certain wrestlers are better off performing somewhere that is not WWE. They are doing great and thus, they don't need to work for WWE. Let's take a look at the five wrestlers who shouldn't join WWE.
Keep in mind, this article is not about saying that these wrestlers will not get a proper push or they are too good to work for WWE. It would be great if they wrestle in a WWE ring and some of the wrestlers mentioned are likely going to succeed with the company as well.
It's about why I think they shouldn't wrestle in a WWE ring unless WWE decides to pull a 'Jushin Thunder Liger' and allow wrestlers from other companies compete in a WWE ring for one time only.
#1 Zack Sabre Jr.
Zack Sabre Jr is considered to be one of the best technical wrestlers in the world right now. He won Wrestling Observer Newsletter's 'Best Technical Wrestler' award for four consecutive years from 2014-2017.
He is currently a member of the Suzuki Gun and held Revolution Pro Wrestling's British Heavyweight Championship 2 times, PWG World Championship, and Evolve Championship. In the ring, Zack Sabre Jr is a killer.
Sabre Jr. can come up with submission and pinning combination when you least expect it and can tie you up like a ribbon.
He is having a time of his life right now, winning the New Japan Cup and PROGRESS's Super Strong Style tournament as well as beating the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, and Hiroshi Tanahashi. He is already a successful wrestler, and thus, has very little to reason to work for WWE.
Besides the fact that he doesn't need to wrestle in a WWE ring, Sabre Jr. does not belong there. For starters, most of his arsenal consists of submissions.
Granted, not every move in his repertoire include submissions and he does use moves like the Penalty Kick and Zack Driver, but the majority of his offense consists of pinning combinations and submissions.
Thus, his style of wrestling is not for everyone and some casual fans would find his wrestling style boring.
There is a difference between Daniel Bryan and Zack Sabre Jr. Daniel Bryan is a technical wrestler, but he has added high flying moves as well as flashy moves to make his matches entertaining.
It should also be noted that Zack Sabre Jr is not a very good speaker. He has Taka Michinoku speak for him. But then again, Taka is speaking for Zack Sabre Jr because he couldn't speak Japanese.
Some wrestlers, like Bret Hart and Brock Lesnar, have proven that they don't need mic-skills to succeed in the WWE. But that doesn't mean bad mic-skills couldn't become a hindrance to Zack.
And even though he has some personality playing a cocky heel, he is pretty bland as a babyface.
Those problems could possibly hinder Zack since WWE would have him debut as a babyface or at least turn him face at some point in his career.
That is not to say Zack Sabre Jr is not good enough to succeed in the WWE, but he is much better suited in wrestling companies that focuses more on wrestling and in-ring action than in a company that focuses more on providing entertainment.
#4 Kazuchika Okada
Kazuchika Okada is considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world right now. He had several great matches with the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tomohiro Ishii, Katsuyori Shibata, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Prince Devitt (Finn Balor), Tetsuya Naito, and Kenny Omega.
In fact, his match with Omega at Dominion 2018 got seven stars, the highest rating ever awarded by Dave Meltzer.
Kazuchika Okada held the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for 720 days, and he is considered one of New Japan's 'Ace'. Readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter voted Okada as 'The Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Year' and 'Wrestler of The Year' in 2017 and was also ranked No.1 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 'Top 500 Wrestlers' of 2017. There is no denying that Kazuchika Okada is one of wrestling's biggest star not signed by WWE and it should stay this way
Kazuchika Okada has a very good chance of succeeding in WWE, but certain problems can prevent Okada from reaching the level he could in WWE.
Besides facing the issue of not being fluent in English, Okada's typical match has him start slow and then pick up the pace during the finishing stretch, which may cause some casual fans to lose interest in his matches.
And besides, Kazuchika Okada still has a lot of things to do in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Ever since returning to New Japan from an excursion, Okada has yet to hold any other championship belts besides the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He can always contend for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
There are opponents that Okada never faced (Like Chris Jericho). Okada also needs to help make New Japan bigger than it is since he is the company's 'Ace'.
Okada could succeed in WWE should he decide to work for them. He just doesn't need to go there.
#3 Sami Callihan
Not every wrestler has to be someone who never stepped foot in a WWE ring. Sami Callihan stands out from the other people of this article because he did perform in a WWE ring and failed.
Known as Solomone Crowe in NXT, he was not able to reach the heights he could due to arriving at the time when NXT already had top stars in Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Neville, Baron Corbin, Samoa Joe, Hideo Itami, and Finn Balor. It also doesn't help the fact that the 'hacker' gimmick did not suit Callihan at all
After leaving WWE, Sami Callihan proved to the company that they dropped the ball with him. Right now, Callihan is one of the most hated heels of professional wrestling besides Tommaso Ciampa and Jay White.
He is a top star of Impact Wrestling (which is getting better now) and he had one of the greatest Impact feuds with Eddie Edwards.
Despite this, if Callihan returns to WWE NXT, he would once again be under-utilized. His foul-mouthed psychopath persona is not suited for WWE's PG environment.
He wouldn't be as violent as we know him to be should he sign with the company. Sami Callihan is a great wrestler, but the things that make him special and unique is not something we can see in WWE because that wouldn't be marketable.
#2 Pentagon Jr.
Pentagon Jr. is one of the biggest stars of Mexico and independent circuit. He held Lucha Underground Championship, Impact Wrestling Championship, and PWG Tag Team Championship (with his brother Rey Fenix).
He is known for his sadistic personality, breaking arms of his opponent and dedicating each broken arm as a sacrifice. Pentagon had great matches with the likes of Marty Scrull, Sami Callihan, Rey Mysterio, Ricochet (known as Prince Puma in Lucha Underground), and Kenny Omega.
Pentagon Jr is not only a great wrestler, but he also has one of the more intriguing characters in wrestling. If he goes to WWE, his sadistic and violent personality has to be toned down to fit WWE's PG wrestling.
Pentagon Jr. also uses a lot of moves that are banned in WWE. Meaning, his move-set would be heavily limited.
Pentagon jr. is the type of wrestler who needs to be at his best to make the wrestling fans understand what makes him special and stand out from other masked luchadors.
Wrestling in WWE, which would put limitations on him, would not allow people to see him at his best. And besides, Pentagon Jr. left AAA was because he felt restricted and held back by the company. He would surely feel the same way if he works for WWE.
#1 Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are in the same page because they shouldn't join WWE for the same reason.
And it's not that WWE will under-utilize them. Even with limitations on their move-set and creative freedom, Kenny Omega and Young Bucks have a very good chance to succeed, especially Omega.
The reason why they shouldn't sign with WWE is because New Japan Pro Wrestling needs these guys the most in order to expand and grow.
Kenny Omega is the international face of New Japan, and Young Bucks are the biggest tag team not signed by the WWE.
The Elite are the biggest draw New Japan has right now. Kenny and The Young Bucks joining WWE would deal a huge blow to New Japan because the company has no one big enough to replace them.
Jay White, as good as he is, is not big or good enough to replace Kenny Omega. Cody would not be able to fill the shoes of Omega. Firing Squad, although they represent the Bullet Club the way it should be presented, would not be able to replace Kenny and The Young Bucks.
WWE doesn't need The Elite as much as New Japan does. WWE are doing well without Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. New Japan is growing bigger and bigger recently since 2017, the year when Omega started getting bigger.
Through Kenny Omega, the company are having shows in American soil. Young Bucks, with Cody, created All In - the biggest independent wrestling event of this year. Thus, if Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are hoping to make a difference in the wrestling world, signing with the WWE would destroy everything they are trying to accomplish.
