Jay Lethal began wrestling on Impact/TNA at the tender age of nineteen. He dazzled fans early on in the X Division, but it was his portrayal of the Black Machismo character that gained him a legion of fans. Even after he stopped being Machismo, he had stellar feuds with such legends as Ric Flair and Kurt Angle.

Lethal has done it all in Ring of Honor, and he has stated in the past that working for WWE would be a goal of his before retirement.
