What's the story?

Impact Wrestling star Sami Callihan has repeated the fact that he does not feel sorry for breaking the face of Eddie Edwards, in a conference call.

In case you didn't know...

Sami Callihan joined Impact Wrestling at Bound for Glory 2017, aligning himself with Dave and Jake Christ of oVe.

One of the company's most controversial stars, Callihan made major news after attacking Eddie Edwards with a baseball bat, which caused the former Impact World Champion's face to be busted open.

The heart of the matter

Speaking about being voted 'Wrestler of the Year' by Impact fans, Callihan said he didn't care about what the fans did.

"They all want to talk c**p when I gave the beating of the year, and now they all wanna jump on my bandwagon."

When asked about the backlash he received from the media after breaking the face of Eddie Edwards earlier this year, the self-proclaimed 'Draw' of Impact said it didn't matter what kind of backlash there was.

"Negative attention, positive attention... no matter what, #TheDraw is always getting attention."

The former indie star then turned on the conference callers, claiming he was answering the same questions over and over again.

"Do some research... I don't care that I hurt Eddie Edwards."

Callihan also revealed plans for the team of himself and oVe to capture all titles in Impact in 2019, but said that Option-C - which allows the X-Division Champion a World title match was not a factor.

"Why do you think, I'm gonna do anything to Dave or Jake (Christ) ... we are a cohesive unit, we are one. We are a family."

What's next?

Impact will host their upcoming Homecoming event on January 6, at the Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee. Fans in India can catch Impact Wrestling on Sony ESPN and SONY ESPN HD.
