Backstage, Willie Mack was with Rich Swann as they went over the game plan for Sami Callihan and oVe. Mack said tonight's main event should be about Swann and Callihan alone, so he'll handle oVe.
Ethan Page interrupted, letting them know that they have more to worry about than oVe, as he has his eyes set on the X-Division Championship.
Ace Austin vs Damien High
Ace Austin dropped his opponent to his knees before sending him outside with a running dropkick. A running boot on the apron levelled him, and he followed up with a hanging dropkick through the ropes
High attempted to send Austin back inside to get some distance between them, but Austin went back out and threw him into the guardrails. Back inside, High went for a chop, only for Austin to stun him with a high kick to the head. A springboard kick levelled High. Austin dropped onto him with a corner rolling senton from the top rope.
A kicking combination followed by a legs only facebuster left High in a daze, allowing Austin to finish him off with the Fold.
Results: Ace Austin defeated Damien High via pinfall.
A teaser played revealing that a new Knockout would be debuting in a few weeks.
Afterwards, a highlight package was shown replaying the highs and lows of the reactions between Sami Callihan, oVe, and Rich Swann.
Josh Mathews introduced Impact World Champion Johnny Impact and Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie, hoping to get some answers about what happened last week.
Impact said they'd been hounded all week by reporters asking why betrayed Brian Cage. He stated that the reason he did it was because of the internet "smart marks." Though he defended the Impact World Championship on a more frequent basis than any other champion, he felt that the audience only wanted to see him crash and burn, while they chose their new hero in Cage.
Impact said that Cage is too dumb to understand that the fans don't care about him or anyone else in the business. He followed up by saying he cheated on all the fans with himself.
Mathews then went to Valkyrie, asking about her upcoming championship match against Jordynne Grace. Valkyrie said that she's very talented, but comes up "short" in certain areas. She then went after the "marks" following the show, claiming that they bled Johnny Impact dry.
When asked about the World Championship bout against Cage at Rebellion, Impact said that he's a man of his word, and he'll give Cage the match. He'll be there at 100%. Cage? He doubts it.
Rosemary confronted James Mitchell backstage, asking where the soul of Allie was. Mitchell said he was a man of his word, and gave her Allie, the soul just wasn't part of the deal. Rosemary said that she'll do whatever she has to do to restore Allie to her real self, even if it means returning to the undead realm to confront "Him."
