What's the story?

ECW legend and Pro Wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer had some high praises for Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, following their top-notch performance at the Wrestle Kingdom 12.

In case you didn't know...

The Young Bucks are currently viewed as one of the best tag teams on the planet today, if not the absolute best. The Jackson brothers first made their wrestling debut wrestling debuts in 2004 and the duo is currently signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

Matt and Nick are also working on the Indy scene right now, most notably for Pro Wrestling Guerilla.

The Bucks have won tag team championships for various promotions around the world and are also former PWG and ROH tag team champions. Also during this week's Wrestle Kingdom 12 event, The Young Bucks became a record seven-time IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions after they defeated Roppongi 3K.

The heart of the matter

After their successful and historic win at this year's Wrestle Kingdom event, the Young Bucks were on the receiving end of some huge compliments from ECW legend Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer took it to his Twitter handle and decided to congratulate The Bucks for their win at WK and also regarded them as his two favourite people both in and outside of the wrestling ring.

Additionally, Dreamer also stated that The Young Bucks have also helped him in building his House of Hardcore promotion with their pure wrestling talent. And according to the former ECW World Champion, every wrestling company is much better if The Young Bucks are on it.

What's next?

The Young Bucks are now in their seventh reign as IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions and it looks like the duo of Matt and Nick Jackson intend to hold on to their tag titles for a long period of time. The Bucks are also the current ROH Six-man Tag Team Champions with fellow Bullet Club stablemate Adam Page.

As of right now, The Bucks also continue to work for various Independent promotions around the world.

Author's Take

It is definitely great to see a legend like Tommy Dreamer praising the Young Bucks for their amazing talent and there is also no doubt on how good Matt and Nick are inside the squared circle.
