In the year 2000, Arquette made a few appearances for WCW in order to help sell and promote the film. He became their WCW World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett in a Tag Team Match alongside Diamond Dallas Page on WCW Thunder.
