What's the story?

On tonight's ROH: Final Battle pay-per-view, Socal Uncensored members Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky defended their Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships in a three-way ladder match also involving The Young Bucks and The Briscoes.

Amidst all the chaos, Kazarian was seen pulling all the stops in order to make sure the titles remained on SCU, as the former TNA X-Division Champion was also seen hitting a Styles Clash in tribute to WWE superstar AJ Styles.

In case you didn't know...

AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian do have a lot of history with each other. The two men previously were a part of Impact Wrestling and were a part of the former TNA roster, which at that point in time, was quite arguably having a golden era with the likes of Styles, Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode and several other notable names working as part of their roster.

Both Styles and Kazarian have maintained a pretty healthy relationship with each other off camera as well. In the past, the two veterans of the business faced-off against each other on several notable occasions.

The heart of the matter

Having won the ROH World Tag Team Championships back in October along with his SCU teammate Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian was determined to make sure that he and Sky walked out of tonight's Final Battle still as the reigning tag team champions.

In order to do so, not only did all The Bucks, The Briscoes, and SCU put each other through tables but rather it would be fair to say that all three teams put each other through absolute mayhem.

However, one man who stood out head and shoulders above the rest was definitely Frankie Kazarian, who at one point in the match paid tribute to his friend and former colleague, AJ Styles, by hitting the Styles Clash.

What's next?

Of course, by the end of the night, Kazarian's effort wasn't enough to make sure that the titles remained on SCU, as The Briscoes became 10-time champions. However, it now remains to be seen what the future holds for SCU.
