The Empress of Tomorrow may have suffered a setback at Wrestlemania, but she continues to be one of the most impressive talents in the world. How has she fared in 2018?

Wins/Losses: With 18 wins and only two losses, Asuka is outstanding in this category. Grade: A+

Championships: Asuka has yet to hold any gold in 2018, but she did challenge for the Smackdown championship on the grandest stage of them all. Grade: C

Popularity: Asuka remains one of the most compelling characters on WWE television. Grade: A

Crossover Appeal: From her racy videos from Japan to her adequate social media game, Asuka scores well enough in this regard. Grade: B

Overall Grade: B+ Asuka is doing quite well in the first quarter, but one would expect her to be having an even better year than she is having.


Bayley

The irrepressible Bayley continues to liver her dream of being a WWE superstar. How has her first quarter of 2018 been?

Wins/Losses: Ten wins and seven losses give Bayley an above average record. Grade: B

Popularity: Despite some heelish leanings recently, Bayley remains one of the most celebrated superstars on the WWE's roster, male or female. Grade: A+

Championships: While she held no titles, Bayley was involved in two championship matches, one of which was the history-making first ever women's elimination chamber. Grade: C

Crossover Appeal: Bayley spends some time on social media but lacks cross-media appeal, and most folks outside of wrestling have no idea who she is. Grade: D

Overall Grade: C+ Bayley's doing okay in the first quarter, but she isn't having the stellar run most predicted for her during her NXT days.
