10 pictures that prove Cricketers are party animals

Must..grow..extra..limb

Cricket is well known as the gentlemans game. The history of the sport conjures up memories of gentlemen gently sipping tea with perfect table manners. While the spirit of the sport has evolved, the players have also started to let their hair down. While partying doesnt imply a disrespect to the sport, it does give make one think that the gentlemen who envisaged the sport would probably not choose to let their hair down in this manner anytime. It does make for hilarity though. Here is a look at 10 pictures of cricketers letting their hair down in celebration.

#1 Chris Gayle needs more arms

Must..grow..extra..limb

Probably not pictured here, the extra bottles Gayle is juggling in the air. It does take remarkable hand eye coordination to manage a cigar, bottle and glass at the same time though.

#2 Shane Warne the Superman

SuperShane

This Superman, Superwoman and Catwoman crossover probably didn’t happen in any story arcs of those characters. But there you have Shane Warne writing his own tales.

#3 Ishant Sharma and the barmaids

Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma seen here amidst two bartenders/barmaids. Looks like a wild party.

#4 Harbhajan Singh about to fly

Yuvraj Singh, carrying his team again

Judging by the mud on Harbhajan Singh, it seems that his teammates have taken to spinning him aruond in the sand, much as he spins his deliveries.

#5 Yuvraj Singh grooving

Yuvraj Singh, getting his groove on

The party seems to be in full swing with Yuvraj Singh in the midst.

#6 Kapil Dev on the table

Going retro

Kapil Dev busting a move on a table, showing that even legends let their hair down off the pitch at times.

#7 Chris Gayle indicating the size of his next bottle

“Go get me a bottle, about yay big, or bigger.”- Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle seen busting a move while attempting to coherently indicate his desire for another bottle.

#8 DJ dilettantes

Andrew Russell, Varun Aaron, Aaron Finch and Morne Morkel

Hey if you can spin the ball, or hit a spin, why cant you spin a record?

#9 High Tea

High tea. As gentlemanly as can be

As an antithesis to the wild parties above, here is a more serene scene. Perhaps grasping the gravity of which, the players look equally amused downing their high tea.

#10 Suresh Raina\'s party

Fantastic Five

Here is a genial atmosphere, one perhaps not witnessed back in the era when players would celebrate with a curt nod of their head.
