#5 Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham - 2004/05

After a goalless dull 87 minutes, Pedro Mendes tried his luck from the halfway line and the ball was spilled over his goal-line by Roy Carroll.

The officials missed the goal crossing the line as the goal was not allowed. Tottenham must have felt a sense of complete injustice after being denied a first victory at Old Trafford in more than 15 years.

This game would forever be remembered for the Roy Carroll blunder.

This game would be remembered as the day John O'Shea had to be used as an emergency goalkeeper during the closing stages after Edwin van der Sar broke his nose.

A comeback that is similar to the one played seven years earlier,

Tottenham took a 2-0 lead in the early stages of the game through Darren Bent and Luka Modric.

Then a penalty was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and the game completely changed as United ran away with the game. Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo scored braces and Berbatov finished with one goal to his name.

#2 Man Utd 2-1 Tottenham, 1998/99

United needed a win in the final game of the season to win the League in this treble winning season.

Tottenham opened the scoring through Les Ferdinand much to the chagrin of Manchester United.

But the comeback kings came back to win this all important game as David Beckham scored a blinder and Andy Cole scored the winner to spark wild celebrations all over the world.

#1 Tottenham 3-5 Manchester United, 2001/02

This is the most famous as well as the most extraordinary match played between these two clubs. Tottenham quickly established a 3-0 lead over the Red Devils and seemed to be heading to a famous victory.

United then went on to make a brilliant comeback as Andy Cole, Veron, Blanc, van Nistelrooy and Beckham scored and stunned Tottenham.
