This Adidas ad from 2006 has two children selecting their teams for a football match. However, instead of picking kids from their local school or neighbourhood, Pedro and José get to pick their dream team consisting of international football stars from past and present.
As usual, we see a number of global superstars, even Franz Beckenbauer.
This ad makes it into our top five for its simplicity and beauty.
#4 Brazil at the Airport
This was one of the most iconic and entertaining advertisements of the 1998 World Cup as Ronaldo and Co kick about a ball around an airport, from the security line to the runway, while being chased by security, all to the catchy tune of "Mas que nada" by Sergio Mendes.

This is one of the best trickshot commercials ever made and does not feature any popular football players.
This simple and beautiful ad has talented young as well as old footballers showing off their marvelous skills. It even features a model juggling while she’s wearing 5 inch heels.
All in all a very impressive and well made commercial.

One of most well made World Cup advertisements from 2010 has the world’s best players playing for glory and significant events during the game would create a ripple effect outside the football ground.
It is very smartly made and is an entertaining watch.
It features football players Didier Drogba, Fabio Cannavaro, Wayne Rooney, Franck Ribéry, Ronaldinho, and Cristiano Ronaldo as the main protagonists and is a three minute video.

This animated video is the most amazing advertisement made during this World Cup.
Risk Everything – the tag line of the Nike brand this time around has the world’s best players fighting it out with the Invincible clones to rescue the Beautiful game before it is too late. An entertaining watch. Good job Nike!
