Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is all about family and friends. If there is anything that is worse that betraying your family and friends, it is betraying them and then siding with the enemy.

Big Sweet, does exactly this in the game and the Grove Street boys do not appiriciate it. Developers can bring out as many games as they want to but, none would be as challenging as Captain Claw. Riddled with boss fights this game is a very entertaining and difficult game.

The last level, Tiger Island’ is perhaps the hardest ever! It takes extreme skill, determination and patience to complete it. Captain Claw may not be a very famous game, but for those of you out there who have played it, you know what i am talking about! However, for those who have not played the game till now, well, what are you waiting for?

This level is one of the best ever made in the Sonic series and I hope the developers make levels as cool as this one in the near future too.

#5 Kratos vs Zeus (God of War 3)

God of War, this series is by far one of the best ever. Kratos, a Spartan is haunted by visions of his life and he is forced into hating the gods. He will have his revenge, but not until he has destroyed every last Olympian.

In God of War 3 we see him go head to head with his father, Zeus. Zeus seems pretty mad at Kratos for everything that he has done and well, they end up fighting till there is only one man standing. One of the best and hardest missions in the game, this game is sure to impress gamers all over the world.

Crysis, the game set a new dimension with regards to graphics and in game physics. Although the game was highly entertaining and challenging, none of the missions were as impressive as Recokning.

The map in the this map was designed in a unique way and it allowed us to sneak past our enemies and launch a surprise attack or you could simply go ‘Rambo’ and head straight into the enemies lair. This mission was amazing and it is the mission that i remember Crysis by. An awesome game with an awesome mission. Way to go Crysis!

If there is something that the Need For Speed series has taught us, it is that speed equals heat. NFS Most Wanted is one of the best games in this series and has a beautiful finish, thanks to its unique storyline.

The last mission in this game is one of the best ever made for any game in the racing genre. You are presented with an opportunity to run away from thirty cops in style. Half-Life 2 is one of the best FPS games ever made. The last mission in the game, Dark Energy was perhaps the best mission ever made for any game belonging to the FPS genre. The brilliant level design and beautiful graphics made this mission memorable.

As a matter of fact, it really does not matter, how many times you play the game, Half-Life 2, the minute you reach this mission you would say, “Yes! It was worth it.” We all have some expectations from Valve but this mission exceeds all expectations! Well done, Valve, you deserve this spot in the list.

#1 Pillar of Autumn (Halo: Reach)

best missions in video games

Halo: Reach’s last mission was one of the best in the entire franchise. The mission, Pillar of Autumn had us fighting hordes of Covenant invaders with an anti-aircraft gun. The mission was a picture perfect ending to the game and it blended perfect with Halo: Combat Evolved.

The atmosphere, the violence in the air and the sound of a rattling gun made this mission one of the best missions ever introduced into the world of gaming. The mission had references to both Master Chief and Cortana, which helped with linking the story. If you ever get a chance to play Halo: Reach, please do play this mission. Believe me, this one is worth it!
