Best NBA Player Props for Tonight: Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, and Bojan Bogdanovic

United States v France Men
NBA stars Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard

The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Thursday (November 17) with just six teams set to take to the court. Take a look at three strong player props for tonight's action, featuring Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, and Bojan Bogdanovic.

NBA Player Prop #1: Kevin Durant Over 30.5 Points (-125)

Despite the Brooklyn Nets' 6-9 start, Kevin Durant has been nothing short of spectacular. The 2013-2014 NBA MVP is averaging 30.3 points per game while shooting 52.4% from the field, 35.3% from three-point range, and 92.1% from the free-throw line. Durant is the only NBA player to have scored at least 25 points in every game he has played. Additionally, he has scored at least 31 points in seven of 15 games.

While the Nets will be facing the Portland Trail Blazers, whose defense ranks sixth in opponents points per game and seventh in defensive rating, a strong defense hasn't stopped Durant from playing well. After winning four of five and nearly getting back to .500, the Nets have dropped their last two games. Brooklyn needs to get back in the win column and they will need a big game from Durant to do so. Look for Durant to score at least 31 points.

NBA Player Prop #2: Damian Lillard Over 25.5 Points (-125)

Damian Lillard has had an incredible start to the season. After playing just 29 games last season and looking like a shell of himself, Lillard has bounced back, averaging 27.9 points per game while shooting 46.0% from the field, 37.9% from three-point range, and 86.4% from the free-throw line. While he battled injury early in the season, Lillard managed to score at least 26 points in five of his nine contests.

Lillard will be facing a Brooklyn Nets defense that has reverted to their poor ways over the past two games. In their most recent outing, they allowed Terence Davis, who entered the contest averaging 6.4 points per game, to score 31 points, as the Sacramento Kings scored 153. After very briefly playing a top-ten unit, the Nets have slipped to 11th in opponents points per game and 22nd in defensive rating. Look for Lillard to take advantage by scoring at least 26 points.

NBA Player Prop #3: Bojan Bogdanovic Over 17.5 Points (-135)

Bojan Bogdanovic is currently leading the Detroit Pistons in scoring and is quietly putting together a very good start to the season. Bogdanovic is averaging 20.1 points per game, while shooting 50.0% from the field, 41.6% from three-point range, and 87.7% from the free-throw line. Bogdanovic has scored at least 18 points in ten of his 15 games played, including the last three without second-leading scorer Cade Cunningham. Over that stretch, without Cunningham, Bogdanovic has averaged 23.7 points per game.

With Cunningham scheduled to miss Thursday's contest, look for Bogdanovic to take advantage. While his opponents, the Los Angeles Clippers, are ranked fourth in opponents points per game and second in defensive rating, they are expected to be without stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, who are both excellent perimeter defenders. Look for Bogdanovic to score at least 18 points.
