Nikola Jokic and Damian Lillard

The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Wednesday, December 7th, with six teams scheduled to play. Let's take a look at three strong player props for tonight's action, featuring Nikola Jokic, Damian Lillard, and Paul George.

NBA Player Prop #1: Nikola Jokic Over 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)

Nikola Jokic has quietly rebounded from a slow start to the season. The Denver Nuggets star has averaged 26.6 points per game, 10.9 rebounds per game, and 8.8 assists per game over his past eight games after a three-game absence. During that stretch, Jokic is shooting 66.7% from the field, 36.4% from three-point range, and 74.2% from the free-throw line.

For the season, the back-to-back NBA MVP is averaging 23.0 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game, and 8.9 assists per game while shooting 63.1% from the field, 32.0% from three-point range, and 80.8% from the free-throw line. Look for Jokic to continue his strong play by finishing with at least 44 combined points, rebounds, and assists.

NBA Player Prop #2: Damian Lillard Over 23.5 Points (-118)

Damian Lillard has averaged 25.8 points per game this season, while shooting 43.2% from the field, 34.7% from three-point range, and 87.8% from the free-throw line. The Portland Trail Blazers star, however, has played in just 12 games, two of which he left early, as he has had two stints in which he was sidelined. In the ten games that Lillard started and completed, he has scored at least 24 points six times.

Additionally, both of Lillard's return games have seen him score under 24 points as he has knocked off the rust. In his second game back from his first absence, Lillard finished with 26 points while shooting 8-16 from the field and 6-12 from three-point range. In his previous meeting with the Denver Nuggets, Lillard finished with 31 points while shooting 10-16 from the field, 4-7 from three-point range and 7-8 from the free-throw line. Expect Lillard to once again have a strong night, finishing with at least 24 points.

NBA Player Prop #3: Paul George Under 23.5 Points (-110)

Paul George has struggled in his return from injury, averaging 15.0 points per game while shooting 40.7% from the field over two games since returning. Furthermore, those Over his past seven games, George has averaged 18.4 points per game while shooting 39.4% from the field, failing to reach 24 points in each contest.

While his two games since returning have been against bottom ten defenses, that will not be the case Wednesday when the Los Angeles Clippers face the Miami Heat. Look for George to once again fall short of the 24 point mark against Miami's top-ten defense.
