Best Player Props for Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions - October 30 - NFL Week 8 | 2022 NFL Football Season

Miami Dolphins v Baltimore Ravens
Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions will host the Miami Dolphins during the NFL's Week 8, and there are plenty of player props being offered. The Dolphins snapped their three-game losing streak last week by defeating the Steelers, moving to 4-3 on the year. The Lions are on a four-game skid themselves, and they'll look to snap this streak at home on Sunday. Below, we'll go through the best player props for this exciting matchup.

Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions Match Details

Fixture: Miami Dolphins @ Detroit Lions

Date & Time: Sunday, October 30, 1:00 p.m. EDT

Venue: Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan

NFL Player Prop #1: Tyreek Hill Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Tyreek Hill has had a great first year in Miami, as he currently leads the NFL in receptions and receiving yards entering Week 8. He averages 110.4 receiving yards per game, and on Sunday, he'll face a Lions defense that allows 412 total yards of offense on average and 32.3 points. Both of these marks rank last in the NFL, and this should be a game where the Miami offense stat pads. The trend for Hill this year is that he's had a monster game followed by a subpar performance (by his standards). Last week, he tallied 72 receiving yards which is by no means a bad game, but Hill had totaled 160+ yards in two of his past three games prior. Expect the former Chiefs receiver to dominate this Lions' secondary on Sunday.

NFL Player Prop #2: Jared Goff Over 34.5 Passing Attempts (-108)

Jared Goff and the Lions' offense have been solid this year, but it's been the defense for Detroit that has led to their 1-5 record. Goff didn't attempt a lot of passes last week against the Cowboys, but he was averaging 37.2 before that game. Today, he'll take on a decent Dolphins defense, but the norm has been that the Lions have been playing from behind more often than not. Expect Goff to be forced to pass pretty frequently on Sunday, especially in the second half.

NFL Player Prop #3: Raheem Mostert Over 85.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-114)

Raheem Mostert finished with 109 rushing plus receiving yards last week in his team's 16-10 victory. Mostert gets the luxury today of facing a really weak Lions defense that is arguably the worst in the NFL. He beat up on a poor Steelers defense in Week 7, so expect him to pick up where he left off and tally a lot of yards with his legs and as a pass-catcher versus Detroit.
