DraftKings Boosts and Specials for Today’s NBA Games

We bring you some of the best Boosts and Specials for the NBA Games kicking off on Wednesday (October 19) brought to you by DraftKings.

NBA Boost #1- New Orleans Pelicans vs Brooklyn Nets- Kevin Durant to score 20+ Points; (Yes: -1000)

The Pelicans take on the Nets at the Barclays Centre in their season opener. A lot is expected of both teams this season after disappointing campaigns last time out. As it always is, the main point of focus for the Nets will be star-man Kevin Durant.

Since his move to Brooklyn, he has been the one-man show even though superstars have come and gone. Last season, Durant was putting MVP level numbers, averaging nearly 30-7-6 in the regular season. He came incredibly close to winning the scoring title as well but was edged by Joel Embiid.

This season also, the Nets faithful will be expecting similar numbers from their forward. The prop suggests a massive boost on Durant recording 20 points or above, which in any case should be a likely event unless something unforeseen happens.

The first game of the season is always exciting. Add to that the prospect of seeing the likes of Zion Williamson and Ben Simmons return from injury after prolonged layoffs, it should be spectacular. All said and done, this special is worth going for.

NBA Boost #2- Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks- Luka Doncic and Devin Booker to both make 1+ threes; (Yes: -1000)

The Phoenix Suns take on the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. It will be the battle of the superstars of the NBA, as Luka Doncic will go head-to-head against Devin Booker.

They have established themselves as two of the best guards in the NBA and have been key players for their respective team. Booker was the main man for the best team in the NBA last season, ending the regular season at 64-18. He scored nearly 27 points a night, averaging three 3 PM per game.

Doncic, meanwhile, carried his team to the playoffs following a fourth-place finish in the regular seasonm going 52-30. He put up ridiculous numbers as usual, finishing with splits of 29-9-9, nearly averaging a 30-point triple-double.

He also averaged three 3PM per game, which pretty much justifies the worth of this boost. Both guards are exemplary shooters, making this Special worth going for.
