USC is amid a three-game winning streak since going 1-2 in the Bahamas. They most recently put the clamps on Cal State Fullerton in a 64-50 victory.

However, leading scorer Boogie Ellis is still in a rut, scoring in single-digits and shooting under 33% from the field for a third straight game. As Ellis continues to slide, guard Kobe Johnson continues to soar. The sophomore scored 14 points just three days after setting a new career-high with 17. He added five rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 28 minutes.

Blue chip prospect Tre White also had one of his better games in his inaugural campaign, scoring a career-best 15 points on 6-of-9 from the field.

USC vs. Long Beach State Prediction

Per KenPom, Long Beach State is one of the fastest-paced teams in the country. They would also love to get out in transition, although they aren't the most efficient in that category. However, USC struggles with that shot type, giving LBSU a slight edge on offense.

USC also runs many isolation sets, while the Beach has had issues locking up in one-on-one situations all season. With both offenses having an edge in this matchup, USC should be able to get back on track offensively while LBSU gives them some fits on the defensive end.

Prediction: Over 145.5 (-105)
