The Young and the Restless weekly preview sees Audra plot with Victor, Daniel reunite with Danny, and Mariah hide a dark truth

A long week in Genoa City is heating up as The Young and the Restless enters a week's worth of drama, starting with secrets, highly questionable motives, and some unexpected reunions.

Audra is stepping deeper into Victor's shady play during the next week's drama, and she is making moves in secret that will affect her relationships with Nate and Kyle. Also, a musical blast from the past in the form of Danny is about to rock Daniel's world in a much-needed family reunion.

Everywhere else on the canvas, Mariah's erratic post-work travel behavior will finally catch up to her as Tessa's pregnancy frustration grows, and there is a lot of backstory spilling outside the rehearsal room. While things heat up between Mariah and Tessa, Mariah's internal unprocessed secret has the potential to boil over.

Victor will provide more oversight and control as an executive producer than before, as he plays off Audra, Adam, and Chelsea against each other. Meanwhile, Tessa is back for another round of conflicts with Phyllis, as Tessa becomes increasingly protective of her son, and Phyllis becomes more possessive.

Devon will assume the protector role of the Winters family legacy. Christine and Danny return to town, and with a mysterious Dumas soirée on the horizon, it appears that the week ahead will bring about numerous new conflicts and some long-overdue information to light.

Victor Newman delivers a daunting assignment this week, one that requires Audra to tap into every bit of intelligence she can summon. With the Dumas soirée approaching, he tells her to ensure the attendance of a newly contracted party at the event.

Audra will not second-guess her chance to gain leverage, even at the expense of morality. As Audra plays the long game with Victor, she is also keeping something from Nate.

It may be her involvement in Victor's plans or something else entirely. Either way, Nate will remain oblivious. But by Friday, Audra's tangled mess of secrets could jeopardize her romantic relationship and ambition on The Young and the Restless.

Daniel reconnects with Danny and faces a new chapter on The Young and the Restless

Returning to Genoa City, Daniel is surprised when his father, Danny, returns home. Their meeting opens the door to healing, as Danny (musician, father, mentor) offers his son comfort during his time of struggle. Danny is with Cricket by his side, and although Danny's visit is not meant to be permanent, timing is everything.

This renewed relationship in Daniel's life connects with Tessa's continuing efforts to support Daniel through music. Danny may contribute freshness and new clarity to Daniel's rekindled interest in the guitar and perhaps the pieces of advice Daniel didn't need to ask for.

Mariah’s secret surfaces, and it’s worse than anyone imagined on The Young and the Restless

After returning from a recent work trip, Mariah has been aloof and unsettled. The mystery behind her behavior will start to unfold this week. During her travels, she had a bizarre encounter that has rattled her, and Tessa will not let it go on any longer.

As Tessa presses her for the truth, Mariah begins to open up, but what she divulges is more disturbing than anyone could have expected. This is not about cheating or a simple lie.

According to Mariah, what occurred was something she couldn't even acknowledge herself, let alone share with Sharon. When the truth comes to light, it will put the strength of her marriage and her sense of safety and security to the test on The Young and the Restless.
