BYU signee AJ Dybantsa shared his reaction to glimpses of his practice session with NBA player Jonathan Kuminga.
On Sunday, Kuminga posted a photodump. In the pictures, the Golden State Warriors' power forward is working out and playing golf. In one of the pictures, he is practicing with Dybantsa.
"🌞🌞," read the post's caption.
The top 2025 prospect reposted the post on his Instagram story.
"jkeeeezy," Dybantsa captioned the post.

In another post, the two appear posing and practicing with their trainer.
"Work work work #justknow," read the post's caption.
Dybantsa also reposted this post on his story.

AJ Dybantsa has finished high school with an overall No. 1 ranking for the majority of the time. The 6-foot-9 forward is set to begin as a freshman at BYU and is estimated to be drafted at the top in the 2026 NBA draft.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Kuminga is at the center of offseason trade speculation. Some rumors suggest that the Warriors are considering a sign-and-trade, while others hint they may retain and develop the 22-year-old. Amid the rumors, Kuminga has stayed silent, disabling comments on recent Instagram posts.
Back in May, coach Steve Kerr shared why he gave Kuminga fewer minutes on the court towards the end of the season.
“It’s a tricky one because Jonathan obviously is gifted and wants to play a bigger role and wants to play more,” Kerr said.
“And for me, I’ve been asked to win. And right now, he’s not a guy who I can say I’m going to play 38 minutes with the roster that we have — Steph [Curry] and Jimmy [Butler] and Draymond [Green] — and put the puzzle together that way and expect to win."
While nothing concrete can be said, Kuminga is seemingly focused on improvement.
AJ Dybantsa gears up for 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup with Team USA
Ahead of his career at BYU, AJ Dybantsa will join USA Basketball’s training camp in Colorado Springs in preparation for the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup. The camp will be crucial in selecting the final roster and team building before the competition.
The tournament is set to take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, from June 28 to July 6.
Dybantsa is among 33 athletes selected for the camp. The camp starts on June 14, with Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd leading the team.
