After his horrific Tesla Cybertruck crash last April, when he almost lost his life, five-star USC signee Alijah Arenas is now out and about. He has now officially graduated from Chatsworth and has made a full recovery from being forced into a medically induced coma due to smoke inhalation from the crash. This can be seen in a new video from his dad, former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas.

On Sunday, the former Washington Wizards star posted a video of himself on Instagram having a paintball session with his eldest son, along with several friends, including former Milwaukee Bucks star Brandon Jennings, and laughing at his antics. In one instance, Alijah Arenas "promised" Jennings he would not shoot as he passed by, but the former Chatsworth shooting guard did not keep his promise and chased him.

Alijah Arenas crashed into a fire hydrant in late April, but the vehicle kept going and crashed into a tree. The Cybertruck then started burning up, and the hooper was trapped inside and could not open the windows or the door. As the smoke began building up, several good Samaritans arrived and pulled him out of the burning wreck.

He was then sent to a nearby hospital, but doctors had to place him in a medically induced coma. He woke up hours later and could talk and write. He was soon discharged but was still under observation for a few weeks, but has since made a complete recovery.

His mom, Laura Govan, and dad, Gilbert Arenas, who normally do not see eye to eye and are often feuding on social media, put on a united front as Alijah Arenas was recovering in the hospital. They also came together when the five-star shooting guard was discharged from the hospital and was able to go home.

Gilbert Arenas says Cybertruck malfunctioned, causing Alijah Arenas to crash

As for the reason for the near-fatal crash, Gilbert Arenas revealed during his appearance on Matt Barnes' "All The Smoke" podcast in May that Alijah's Tesla Cybertruck malfunctioned on him, causing the incident.

"The car malfunctioned on him," Gilbert Arenas told Matt Barnes. "The steering wheel went limp and ran him right into a tree. Once he got his personality back, which was once they got the drugs out of him, our jokes came back. Like, damn boy, you almost went extra crispy on me, man. You almost went extra crispy, dawg."

The elder Arenas also thanked the three passers-by who helped pull his son out of the burning wreck, thus saving his life.
