Caitlin Clark, a superstar from the University of Iowa, was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. This selection took place on April 15, 2024.

Clark is considered one of the greatest collegiate players of all time. She is the all-time leading scorer across men’s and women’s college basketball, setting the record for the most three-point shots ever in a single season, a record previously held by professional player Steph Curry.

In a surprising event, Caitlin Clark's high school basketball old coach Kristin Meyer went on TV on Fox News and shared a delightful insight into the fun-loving personality of the newly drafted WNBA star.

"She's doing karaoke on the microphone," the Meyer said, painting a picture of a jovial and spirited young woman who loves to entertain her teammates and friends.

"We had a little free time before a game, and, I went to go do some coaching. I come back, and she's doing karaoke on the microphone. And the entire gym was an empty gym besides just her teammates," Meyer recalled.
