Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is one of the most athletic football players out there, and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is saying he did something unbelievable in high school. During a high school All-Star game, Jackson claimed that Barkley was able to completely jump over somebody's head.
The Ravens QB commented in regard to facing Barkley and fans reacted to the claim, with some saying he was channeling his inner LeBron James during that high school game.

Meanwhile, many others commented that Saquan Barkley has always been that athletic, while others commented that that is what he will do to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens when they face the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday.

Saquon Barkley played for Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania and rushed for 3,646 yards with 63 touchdowns from his sophomore to senior year. He was rated a four-star recruit before committing to Rutgers. However, he flipped and went to Penn State instead.
Aside from football, Barkley also participated in basketball and track and field, which means that not only could he run, but also jump. He won the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference gold medals in both the 100-meter dash and the long jump at the PIAA District 11 meet. He also played shot put in high school.

As for the game that Lamar Jackson was talking about, it happened during the 2015 Offense Defense All-American Bowl.
A clip of Saquon Barkley jumping over one of the defenders was posted on X on Wednesday, and it showed that he was trying to evade one of the oncoming defenders and this led to that moment. He was still stopped but this led to a very audible reaction from the people in attendance.
The Offense-Defense All-American Bowl is an annual All-Star football game that features 40 of the best high school seniors all over the United States. Players are determined by Rivals.com and features an East versus West format.
