LeBron James' younger son, Bryce James, and Carmelo Anthony's son, Kiyan Anthony's, teams faced each other in the LuHi Holiday Invitational on Friday. However, the sons of NBA legends were not involved in the game due to injuries, Anthony's Long Island Lutheran took the 65-50 win against James' Sierra Canyon.
James took to Instagram to reshare a special moment with Kiyan Anthony. Famous basketball page Sports Center NEXT posted a video of the duo shaking hands on-court before the game. The post was reshared by James on his Instagram story:

Both brothers, Kayden and Dylan Mingo, took responsibility for helping Long Island Lutheran get the win. Kayden scored 20 points while Dylan scored 14.
In May, James and Anthony faced each other in the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. Both played for their father's teams as Anthony represented Team Melo while James played for Strive for Greatness (SFG). The Syracuse commit had 18 points and 4 assists, while the Sierra Canyon player scored 8 points and grabbed 2 rebounds.
In the EYBL, Anthony averaged 19.6 PPG and 4.6 RPG in 15 games while James was unable to find his tempo as he averaged only 5.6 PPG and 2.4 RPG in five games for SFG.
Kiyan Anthony talks about his relationship with Bryce James
Both Kiyan Anthony's and Bryce James' fathers, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James, started their NBA careers in 2004. While they played for various teams in their illustrious careers, both of them played for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022.
Kiyan Anthony spoke about their relationship and also talked about him and Bryce James:
"My pops and his pops played together on the Lakers," the Syracuse commit said on "The Kiyan Anthony Show" earlier this year. "It was a little different situation because they weren't rivals. They were really best friends, but the media is always going to make it seem like they got something against each other.
"It's not similar with me and Bryce, but everybody just wants one of us to be like, 'Oh, I'm way better than him.' We would never say that about each other. We just go out there and compete."
Anthony committed to his father's alma mater, Syracuse, on Nov. 15 while James is yet to make a decision on his collegiate career.
