On July 14, 2024, BTS member Jungkook achieved a significant milestone by being named the highest-ranking solo artist on the Circle Social Chart 2.0 for the first half of 2024.

Covering the period from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, the chart placed Jungkook at #4, making him the only solo artist in the Top 5, the only male solo artist in the Top 10, and the highest-ranking male act, following closely behind his group, BTS.

Jungkook surpassed artists like BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Choi Yu-ree, IU, Lim Young-woong, and others to claim the spot.

The youngest member of BTS, Jungkook continues to set new records daily while fulfilling his mandatory military service, which began in December last year. As per the latest stats by Circle Social Chart 2.0, the Euphoria singer surpassed other Korean solo artists like IU and Lim Young-woo to claim the #4 spot on the list.

For those unfamiliar, The Circle Social Chart, previously known as the Gaon Social Chart ranks the most popular South Korean musical artists based on data from streaming, downloads, and background audio on major South Korean music platforms, along with sales from other sources.

The Still With You singer continues to break records on various other platforms. Recently, according to Billboard's 2024 International Power Players, the BTS vocalist's track SEVEN topped the charts as the hottest hit outside the US, surpassing acclaimed songs like Miley Cyrus's Flowers and Taylor Swift's Cruel Summer.

Additionally, his latest vlog, Unwinds in Qatar BANGTAN BOMB, which was uploaded on Army Day, debuted at #63 on the YouTube Global Daily Top Music Videos Chart, making it the only BTS member vlog to enter the chart. It also debuted at #10 on the YouTube South Korea Daily Top Music Videos Chart.


Before enlisting, the dancer-singer of BTS released his debut solo album, GOLDEN in November 2023, along with several singles like 3D and Seven. Additionally, he recorded pre-release tracks to be shared with fans during his service term.
