BTS’ Jin's Happy album promotional events have received criticism from fans online due to the behavior of the attendees and winners' selection process. On November 24, 2024, he held a private fan meeting at Lotte World Carousel Adventure where 50 lucky fans got a chance to ride the Merry-Go-Round with the Moon singer. The fans also received a free Lotte World ticket and a signed album.

The K-pop idol also held a Video Call Fansign Event on the same day, where he spoke to 100 lucky fans for about 60 seconds each. Notably, the fans were selected through a raffle system. Following the events, netizens noticed that some of the signed albums that the Lotte World attendees received were allegedly on sale at a reselling website at a higher price.

Furthermore, fans learned that two Lotte World attendees were able to participate in the Video Call Fansign event as well on the same day. This is because Jin recognized them and asked whether they enjoyed Lotte World or not. BTS fans expressed their disappointment in BIGHIT MUSIC for allegedly not taking enough measures to prevent unfairness in such events.

"Disheartening and unacceptable," a fan said
“Hey @BIGHIT_MUSIC congrats, you picked a bunch of ungrateful people to win your raffle in which your artist prepare so many things with love and care. And this is not the first time you and your system picked problematic people to win,” a user commented
“The winners should be chosen with more caution and appropriate checks. All this is unfair and wrong towards those who truly deserve to live these experiences,” another user commented

Fans also pointed out two fans winning both events. They demanded that BIGHIT MUSIC should change their raffle system rules, so that different people can get a chance to participate and attend one event during that period, not just the same person.

“ppl who have been to lotte world would know how expensive and hard to get the tickets or even get a ride there yet seokjin was nice enough to give u mfs to enter FOR FREE THE WHOLE DAY and none of u appreciate it. yall ungrateful mfs”- a user stated
“Always the same person, antis, shippers, stalker and multis won the raffle, bh need to change how they choose the winner.”- a fan said
“Actually the company should implement a system in which once you win something you cant be selected as a winner again to give more armys the chance of winning.”- another fan said

BTS’ Jin dropped his first solo album Happy with the title track Running Wild on November 15, 2024. The album peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

With RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook's solo albums charting in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Album Charts, BTS became the only K-pop group to achieve this milestone.

The song Running Wild secured No. 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking Jin's second solo track to enter the chart besides The Astronaut in 2022. It also claimed No. 25 on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. With this feat, Running Wild became the highest charting song by the BTS vocalist on the British music chart.

On November 26, Jin officially released Falling featuring ONE OK ROCK's Taka on the major music services platforms worldwide.
