BTS’ Jin was announced as the global ambassador of the French Jewelry brand FRED, surprising fans and netizens online. On July 8, WWD reported that Jin partnered with the luxury jewelry brand. While announcing the news, Valerie Samuel, the artistic director, and the brand's vice president, shared her thoughts on this collaboration with the K-pop idol.

As per WWD’s Instagram update, she stated,

“His radiant energy, artistic qualities, values and high standards constantly push him to excel, strongly resonating with those of our maison and our founder Fred Samuel, with whom he shares an unwavering optimism and joie de vivre.”

Notably BTS’ Jin is the first global ambassador of the brand and he also opened up about his new endeavor with the FRED.

He said,

“I’m deeply honored and grateful to be part of the Fred family. Please look forward to the future endeavors we will bring through the partnership.”

Fans online could not help but gush over his look representing the jewelry, they took to social media platform X to express their thoughts about his ambassadorship with the brand.

“WE ARE SO BACK,” one fan said.

“KIM 'never let them know your next move' SEOKJIN. One moment he is at a high school, the next moment he is an ambassador. Nobody's doing it like him,” another fan said.

Netizens highlighted the busy schedule of Jin following his military discharge in June 2024. The Moon singer has been working on brand campaigns, two variety show appearances, and other activities. He was also announced as the Olympic Torch Relay runner for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

BTS’ Jin gains attention for his recent Instagram update

Jin has been active on his Instagram for the past few days and has updated his daily activities through images. On July 7, Jin posted selfies where he is seen wearing a headphone which many fans speculated to be a sign that he was working on his new music.

Netizens believed that he was recording music every day since this was the second post where the BTS vocalist was seen in a studio. Jin is the only member among the BTS members who is yet to release his solo album, and fans eagerly await his album release.

The Astronaut singer also recently attended his cousin's wedding on July 6, breaking the internet as several clips and images from the ceremony circulated on social media.

In other news, the BTS member is set to appear on the variety show The Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island. According to MBC, he has completed filming. However, the broadcast date of the episode is yet to be confirmed.
