Diddy trial: Rapper's ex-lover recalls pulling "the ‘hotel night’ card" to persuade him to end trip early with another woman

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex-girlfriend, under the pseudonym “Jane,” was back on the witness stand on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, for cross-examination in the Manhattan court. According to CNN, the woman, referred to in the indictment as “Victim-2,” testified in front of Judge Arun Subramanian and the jury.

On Wednesday, defense attorney Teny Geragos resumed her cross-examination with Jane, one of Sean Diddy Combs’ accusers and ex-partner who dated the rapper from 2021 to 2024. The witness on the stand recalled that she pulled the “hotel night” or “freakoff” card to persuade the 55-year-old musician to end his trip early with another woman.

As per CNN, defense attorney Teny Geragos recalled the time after Jane’s birthday in the year 2022. Diddy’s ex testified that she persuaded the musician to leave a trip that he had taken with a different woman by threatening to restrain a “hotel night.” On the stand, Jane said that she made Sean Combs come home from that vacation a day early.

“If you don’t come here now, we’re not gonna do anything that you want to do,” Jane had said.

Sean Combs’ ex replied to Geragos' question of when she used the “hotel night” card. She reminisced about threatening Combs that she wouldn’t have a Valentine’s Day party with him.

“Yes, that was the first time I pulled that card,” she replied.

Notably, in her previous testimony, Jane had stated that she and Sean “Diddy” Combs had a “hotel night” on her birthday. She also testified that she got upset after the rapper, shortly after her birthday, reportedly accompanied a different woman on vacation for her birthday.

As per the news outlet, Jane also confirmed in her testimony that she had planned a “hotel night” for Valentine’s Day in 2022 after the rapper allegedly agreed to return early from the vacation he was on with another woman.

On Wednesday, she confirmed in the courtroom that she had decorated the hotel room with rose petals and planned to have two “entertainers” in the room. Notably, these entertainers were males who were paid to have sexual encounters. Jane also acknowledged that it was her idea to have two male escorts at once.

Meanwhile, Jane confirmed that she and Diddy didn’t have any “hotel night” in the spring of 2022 for about two months. Furthermore, she testified that she only agreed to participate in “hotel nights” because she thought the encounters brought the rapper peace.

The 55-year-old rapper’s ex-girlfriend also recalled the longest “hotel night” she had was around New Year’s 2022. Jane alleged that it lasted about three days and involved three male entertainers. However, after Sean Combs went on a vacation with a woman named Gina, Jane said that she had considered breaking up with the rapper.

Jane, during the cross-examination, also testified about reaching out to one entertainer named Sly through text message. She had asked the male escort to join Diddy and her in Turks and Caicos. Meanwhile, as per CNN, defense attorney Teny Geragos will continue the witnesses’ cross-examination on Thursday morning.

Jane has been testifying in the courtroom for several days now. She first appeared on the stand last week, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, describing the abuse that she had allegedly endured while dating Combs. The rapper has been charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Although he has pleaded not guilty to charges, if convicted, he could face up to life in prison.
