Diddy is the latest suspect in the conspiracy theories surrounding Tupac Shakur’s death, who was fatally shot in 1996. Elaborating on this, Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal shared information during his recent appearance on The Art of Dialogue, a clip of which was released on May 25, 2024.

The Last Night rapper’s name is being linked to Tupac Shakur’s death due to the existence of an alleged million-dollar check. Commenting on the same, Gene Deal said that the feds are so involved in the investigation that Sean Combs could be called in. Once they go through the alleged money trail, the feds will find out why people were given certain positions.

Deal stated:

"If that’s true, then the feds would have to go in and do a money trace on where did that check come from."

In his interview, Gene Deal alleged that the million-dollar check was handed to Eric Von Zip as payment for a hit on Tupac Shakur. Gene Deal suggested that the alleged payment was laundered through P Diddy's record label Bad Boy Records and Blackground Records, of which Von Zip was an associate.

"That’s why that tape of Cassie was released" — Diddy's former bodyguard on feds investigating the rapper

On May 17, 2024, CNN released surveillance footage, from an incident in March 2016, showing Sean Combs violently assaulting and kicking Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. The first lawsuit against the Finna Get Lose rapper was filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in November 2023, accusing the rapper of physical abuse and r*pe. However, the lawsuit was settled amicably.

Commenting on the timing of the video footage release, Sean Combs' ex-bodyguard told The Art of Dialogue:

"That’s why that tape of Cassie was released. So, anybody who was willing to try to help him, anybody who was trying to say that he ain’t capable of doing this, he ain’t capable of doing that, they got it right there on videotape."

According to The New York Times, federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations raided two of Diddy's properties in Miami and Los Angeles on March 25, 2024. While Homeland Security has given no official statement, footage shows federal agents confiscating computers and other devices from the rapper's property. However, no criminal charges have been filed against the Coming Home rapper yet.

Moreover, multiple civil assault lawsuits have been filed against Sean Combs. Four women have accused the rapper of s*xual assault and r*pe, and Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones has accused him of unwanted s*xual contact.

Following the federal investigation and raid at Diddy's residence, the rapper's attorney Aaron Dyer released a statement on March 26, 2024, stating that the investigation is "nothing more than a witch hunt" based on baseless accusations made in civil lawsuits.

Moreover, Gene Deal mentioned several incidents on The Art of Dialogue regarding Sean Combs, including a claim that the feds have tapes from Diddy's parties involving athletes, politicians, and celebrities.
