On June 10, 2025, the South Korean media outlet Business Spot reported that BTS's annual sales were expected to reach parity with those of YG and JYP by 2026, at approximately 1.5 trillion won, leaving the fandom proud.

Subsequently, the latest details about the group's upcoming yearly sales went viral on the internet. Netizens shared multiple snippets praising the group's worldwide impact and influence. An X user tweeted:

The fandom claimed that BTS' power and impact were sufficient to surpass the combined annual sales of the two companies.

"JUST WAIT AND WATCH WORLD MY BOYS HAVE ALOT TO SHOW," a fan reacted.

"K-pop stans will look you straight in the eye and tell you that BTS isn't the greatest group in history Imagine being bigger than the two companies that make up the Big3 ..... A group ended two big companies.....INSANE," a fan mentioned.

Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung were discharged from their mandatory military service on June 10, 2025. Subsequently, Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook were discharged from duty on June 11, 2025. Following the completion of their military service, they started a Weverse live and interacted with their fans after a long time.

Meanwhile, j-hope will release his third digital single, Killin' It Girl, on June 13, 2025, through BigHit Music. Jin dropped his second solo album, Echo, on May 16, 2025.
