Jane, who was in a relationship with Combs from 2021 to 2024, testified that the rapper arranged men for her when she began participating in the "hotel nights" in 2021. She explained that even though she despised getting intimate with unknown men, she felt that if she had to participate, she should at least be allowed to choose who she would be with.

Jane further recalled choosing a guy who would get intimate with her during a "hotel night" in 2021 or early 2022, from a pornographic video. She claimed that his stage name was Sly, whom she texted and booked flights for to visit Los Angeles from Atlanta. Jane said that she was nervous for her first "hotel night" with Sly, as it was her first time being intimate with an adult film star.

She further claimed that she began booking him often for hotel nights "because he was familiar with me" and "because he felt like a safe option for me." Combs' ex-girlfriend said that the rapper would pay Sly between $2,000 and $4,000 for each "hotel night."
