Gwen Stefani shared a message for her son, Kingston Rossdale, through an Instagram post as he recently turned 18. As Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s firstborn became an adult, she shared a compilation of his pictures right from his birth, to him enjoying himself with his siblings and family.

With the compilation, Gwen Stefani also penned down an emotional message for her son, stating:

“Happiest of birthdays Kingston. My first born baby boy :) cannot believe u are 18 today… i love u!”

Stefani and Rossdale met in 1995 and dated for many years before they tied the knot in September 2002. The couple then welcomed three sons in 2006, 2008, and 2014. However, they then filed for divorce in 2015 which was finalized in April 2016.

As Gwen and Gavin's firstborn turned 18, the latter also posted a sweet and emotional message for his son, praising his “creativity and curiosity.” In an Instagram post, Gavin also shared a bunch of pictures of their 18-year-old on his Instagram and stated:

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KINGSTON -18 today and a massive step into your future.so far the best ride of my life and i can’t wait to see where you go from here.i have total belief in you and deeply admire the man within.you have grace,charm and humility. you are at the wheel of your destiny so choose wisely. your musical talent is nuts and soon the world will hear your heart sing.follow your muse,stay curious and keep creating.”

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s kid is also following in the footsteps of his parents in terms of passion for music, as Gavin spoke to People Magazine in 2020, and stated:

"We're trying all these different bands along with bands from his generation. Young kids that are making music now, it's cool, but I was like, 'Why don't we look at the beginning? See where it came from.' "He's just a joy because when he's playing guitar, all he wants to do is wear my clothes. He comes out looking better than me, generally. Basically all three boys, all my kids, they're just better versions of me. I gave them my strengths."

Furthermore, Gwen Stefani has also been all praises about her son, especially after he performed for the first time at Shelton’s Oklahoma bar, Ole Red, in August 2023. At the time, Gwen Stefani spoke to People Magazine and said:

"King has been writing a bunch of amazing songs. When it's your kid, it's like, you love everything, but this is next level to me. These are really good songs, I was bawling. It's crazy when you have children, and they learn what their gift is."

It has been almost a decade since Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale called it quits, and Gwen is now married to Blake Shelton. The couple met in 2015, and started dating shortly after her divorce with Gavin was finalized. They got married six years later in 2021, after announcing their engagement in October 2020.
