The 51-year-old's last album, Music to Be Murdered By, was released in 2020. His upcoming album is slated to release on July 12, 2024, and the list of songs included in the project was recently revealed.

Notably, two songs were released by Marshall before the album's release. This includes Houdini, which came out in May this year followed by Tobey on July 5. Houdini was also in the headline as it referred to Megan Thee Stallion's shooting case that happened in 2020.

A separate trailer for the album was released on July 10 and it has started trending since it focuses on Slim Shady's tombstone in a particular sequence.

An injured arm then comes out of the dirt, hinting towards a possible revival of Slim Shady. The tombstone has the following words written on top –

"Beloved Antagonist Slim Shady 1997-2024 It Feels So Empty Without Him."

The album's release date was confirmed a week ago through a video on social media. A trailer was also released at the time, where a woman could be spotted giving birth to a baby, whose eyes become dark at one point and horns start growing on top of him.
