Megan Thee Stallion kicked off her first headlining tour on May 14

According to Pitchfork, the 35-date tour will resume on May 17 in Chicago, following which the rapper will tour Detroit, Baltimore, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tampa, and Houston.

She also plans to tour internationally, with dates in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Cologne and Birmingham. Hot Girl Summer Tour will end at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C. on July 27, 2024.

Fellow rapper GloRilla joined Megan Thee Stallion as the opening act for the tour. The concert features 30 songs divided into four segments: Act I, Act II, Act III, and Encore. The 29-year-old rapper performs her hit tracks, including Hiss, Freak Nasty, Hot Girl, Cobra, Plan B, and Big Ole Freak.

According to Rolling Stone, the song was produced by Lil Ju, aka LilJuMadeDaBeat, and samples Gwen Stefani's 2004 hit What Ya Waiting For.

“B*tch your time up, why is you not clockin’ out? Doing sh*t for TikTok, b*tch, I’m really hip hop.” Megan raps over the beat.

Boa followed the immense success her previous single, Hiss, earned as the song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2024. This marked her third No.1 after Savage (Remix) with Beyonce and WAP with Cardi B.

Hiss and Boa will reportedly be in Megan's next album, which she dubbed her "strongest yet" during an interview with Women's Health in April 2024.

“I was inspired to create this album about rebirth because I feel I am becoming a new person physically and mentally. They’re feared, misunderstood, respected, healing.”

Megan Thee Stallion also revealed that she chose a snake as the album's motif because it was emblematic of her renewal.
