An old audio clip of JoJo Siwa had been going viral, which was also being used to "ruin" Beyoncé's "mute challenge." This led to the beginning of a new trend known as "JoJo, have you learned nothing." The audio clip dates back to 2023, when JoJo was filming herself driving and singing Olivia Rodrigo's Traitor. The singer sang,
"But you’re still, you’re still a traitor… yeah, you’re still a traitor..."
In the recent "JoJo, have you learned nothing" trend, netizens had been using her singing clip during the quiet moments of their videos. Dexerto reported that this new trend was expected to destroy Beyoncé's challenge. While performing the song Energy, the crowd was to stay silent for a particular verse.
Several videos have gone public, which showed some crowds doing justice to the instructions of staying silent for the verse, while some crowds messing it up.
Adrian Sais made a TikTok video of Rodrigo performing the mute challenge. The twist was Sais inserting JoJo's viral audio during the silent part of the track. In the caption, Sais wrote,
"That one-time JoJo Siwa ruined the mute challenge at the Guts world tour."
JoJo Siwa has been going viral yet again in a new trend
JoJo Siwa has recently been a part of a new trend in which netizens were using her audio clip of 2023 while doing Beyoncé's "mute challenge." Several TikTok videos have been made on the trend. One user used the audio clip in a video where Madison Beer was doing the mute challenge in front of an immense crowd.
JoJo, however, didn't go viral just because of the new trend. She received bashing because of her choreography in Karma, where many fans described it as the "worst" dance in history.
During a recent pride performance, the 21-year-old singer and dancer received backlash for touching herself inappropriately while being on stage. Many people, including those who were in the audience, called her behavior out and described it as being inappropriate for children who had attended her show.
Back in March 2024, however, JoJo Siwa made an announcement on social media where she claimed that she'd be making content that wasn't suitable for children. In the post, she wrote,
"Warning — the following content is not made for children and may be disturbing or offensive to some viewers."
The singer, thus, has been on the news for quite a while. The new trend is just a recent addition to the existing list of reasons.
