While the Stanley Cup is still ongoing, the NHL offseason trade rumors have been starting to pick up steam.
Heading into this offseason, it seems as though we're likely to see a good amount of activity from teams around the league as franchises like the Maple Leafs look to push their way into Stanley Cup contention, and teams like the Anaheim Ducks look to go all-in on ramping up for the future.
Three NHL goalies likely to be traded this offseason

#1: Joonas Korpisalo - Boston Bruins
This season, Joonas Korpisalo posted a 89.3% save percentage, up slightly from the 2023-24 season, however, still below his 90.1% career average. On the heels of a year that saw the team part ways with Brad Marchand and miss out on the playoffs, RG is reporting that Korpisalo is unhappy with his playing time.
The report cites Korpisalo's agent, Markus Lehto, who reportedly told the Bruins that there's a very real chance the veteran netminder requests a trade. Additionally, the report quoted an unnamed source who said Korpisalo is "more than open" to exploring trade possibilities.
Add that onto the fact that he was vocal about playing in just 27 games all season, and it sounds like we could see a trade materialize before the 2025-26 NHL season.

#2: Thatcher Demko
This season, Thatcher Demko posted an 88.9% save percentage, his worst since his rookie year. Combine that with the fact that Kevin Lankinen, who signed a five-year, $22.5 million extension with Vancouver in February, averaged a 90.2% save percentage, and it seems likely that Demko and Vancouver part ways this summer.
Considering Demko is set to become a free agent after the 2025-26 season, it seems to be more a question of when Vancouver trades the veteran netminder rather than a question of if the team will.
While he's been plagued by injury issues, when healthy, he's shown that he can be a valuable presence in net.

#3: John Gibson
During the 2024-25 season, the Anaheim Ducks hired Joel Quenneville to help them take the next step toward winning a Stanley Cup.
Given that, it's clear that a new era is upon us in Anaheim, one that could see the team finally part ways with Gibson, who has been on the trade block for the past four summers.
Last season, Gibson had arguably the best year of his career in nearly a decade, posting a 91.2% save percentage over 29 games. Given that, and the fact that he still has two years left on his deal, there's likely to be a bigger market for the veteran netminder compared to years past.
