Easton Cowan is the top prospect in the Toronto Maple Leafs system. He was selected 28th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. Cowan impressed at training camp last season and should be able to do so again this year.

With Toronto needing help up front, Cowan had a legit chance of making the roster this season.

Fraser Minten made to the Toronto Maple Leafs out of training camp last season, but was sent back to junior after four games.

He was selected in the second round of the 2022 NHL Draft and has a chance to be a third or fourth-line forward in Toronto. He can help kill penalties and play a defensive role.

Minten did get injured in the prospects game. However, it was ruled that he was held out for precautionary reasons. Ultimately, he should be in training camp and have a chance to make the roster.

#3 Roni Hirvonen

Roni Hirovonen came over from Europe last season and played well in the AHL. He recorded 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points in 37 games.

Hirvonen has a chance to be a depth forward for Toronto as the former 2020 second-round pick can play a checking role with the Maple Leafs.

Although he doesn't seem likely to play in the NHL this season, he should be able to get a training camp invite.
