Looking at the odds for tonight's Bruins vs Penguins game, as well as upcoming games on Boston's schedule
Heading into tonight's game between the Bruins and the Penguins, Boston is sitting as a slight betting favorite. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise given the Penguins' struggles this season.
On FanDuel, Boston is sitting as a -172 favorite, while the Penguins are +142 underdogs. These odds are almost identical to those seen on DraftKings, where Boston is a -175 favorite and the Penguins are +145 underdogs.
Using the DraftKings numbers as an example, it would take a $175 bet on the Bruins to win $100. Whereas, a $100 bet on the Penguins as the underdogs would win $145 assuming the odds don't change between now and puck drop.
Following tonight's game, Boston will play two more games at home, playing the Canadiens on Sunday and the Red Wings on Tuesday. They will then hit the road for a game with the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday.
From there, the team will close out the week with a home game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, Dec. 7 before kicking off a five-game road stretch.
