Tonight, the Montreal Canadiens will collide with the Dallas Stars in a cross-conference matchup amid a hot stretch for the Habs. After starting the year with a record below .500, the team found their rhythm in December. The Habs have improved their record to 21-18-4, with seven wins in their last 10 games.
On the flip side, Dallas impressed throughout the season thus far, posting a 28-14-1 record. They have won eight of their last 10 games while jockeying for second place in the Central Division.
In their most recent outing, the Canadiens bounced back from a loss to the Stars last Saturday by picking up a 5-3 win over the Utah Hockey Club, while on the flip side, the Stars are fresh off a 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier in the week.
