Tonight, the Vancouver Canucks will look to build on a three-game win streak that has seen them go undefeated across their latest stretch of road games. With tonight's game marking the first of six games at home, Vancouver will have a chance to return home with plenty of momentum on their side tonight.
On the flip side, the Oilers are amid a two-game losing streak that has seen them drop back-to-back games at home. Currently, Vancouver is looking to fight their way to the top of a Pacific division led by the Vegas Golden Knights, who have 20 points.
Heading into tonight's game, the Canucks have Dakota Joshua listed as day-to-day as the center works his way back from testicular cancer surgery over the summer. In addition, Brock Boeser is out with an upper-body injury after a hit in Thursday's game against the Kings.
The team also has defenseman Derek Forbort out, as well as netminder Thatcher Demko on the not-rostered injured reserve list following an injury in the playoffs last year.

Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers: Odds & Canucks' upcoming schedule
Edmonton is sitting as a slight betting favorite on most US sportsbooks. On FanDuel, for example, the Oilers have -120 odds to win, while on the flip side, the Canucks have +100 odds to win.
These odds are consistent with those seen on DraftKings, where the Oilers are slightly favored with -115 odds whereas the Canucks have -105 odds. To simplify these numbers, it would take a $115 bet on Edmonton as a favorite to win $100, whereas it would only take a $105 bet on Vancouver to win $100. Of course, between now and puck drop, these odds could change.
Following tonight's road game against the Oilers, Vancouver will play five more games at home before hitting the road again in late November. On Tuesday, they'll host the Flames, followed by a game against the Islanders on Thursday.
After an off day, they'll be back in action on Nov. 16 when they host the Blackhawks, before playing the second leg of a back-to-back against the Predators the following night. Their home stretch will then conclude with a clash against the Rangers on Nov. 19.
