Edmonton Oilers' season overview

The Edmonton Oilers have been decent this season and are in the mix to finish the league stages in the top four of the division. The Oilers have done well offensively to become the first team in the league to score 250 goals this season.

The offense is led by McDavid but has got enough options in the shape of Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The Oilers' defensive setup is still very inconsistent, conceding more than three goals per game this season. The defense will have to improve if the team has title aspirations.

The Oilers will be back in action against the Boston Bruins on March 9.
