Adrian Kempe is a 26-year-old Swedish professional hockey player. He is a right winger who plays for the Los Angeles Kings, born on September 13, 1996.

Kempe made his debut in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) while playing for Modo Hockey during the 2013-2014 season. After a successful season, he was selected in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings with the 29th overall pick.

He returned to Modo the following season, 2014-2015. He then signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings in April 2015 and was immediately assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, for the postseason.

He recorded nine points in 17 games and helped the Monarchs win the Calder Cup. The following season, he played for the Kings' new AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reigns, where he recorded 28 points in 55 games.

Kempe was called up to the NHL in February 2017 and made his debut the following day against the Arizona Coyotes. He recorded his first NHL points and goals later that month and switched from No. 39 to No. 9 before his first full season with the Kings.
