Former NHLer and analyst Paul Bissonnette praised Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett for his outstanding performance in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Bennett is excelling in the postseason, contributing significantly to the Panthers' quest for consecutive championships. In the Panthers' 6-1 win in Game 3 over the Edmonton Oilers on Monday, Bennett potted a goal, bringing his playoff total to 14 goals.
Bennett leads the playoffs with 14 goals. Bissonnette shared his opinion on X (Twitter), stating that Sam Bennett deserves a $10 million contract in free agency based on his playoff heroics.
"10 million for Bennett all day. 14 goals in these Stanley Cup Playoffs. Put the charts away. Just watch," Biz wrote.
Sam Bennett is going to be one of the biggest free agents heading into free agency. While Bennett's future with the Panthers remains uncertain, the possibility of him staying with the team has not been ruled out.
